Kent Sorrells is a managing director of The Stephens Group, LLC. His strengths center on gaining a deep understanding of a management team’s strategy, thus combining his investment banking expertise with the resources of The Stephens Group to help partners drive growth, scale and profitability.

Prior to joining The Stephens Group, he spent 14 years in the Corporate Finance department at Stephens Inc., where he served as managing director of the Power and Energy Solutions practice.

Most of his transactional experience has involved mid-sized companies posting $100 million to $600 million in sales, similar to the company size of The Stephens Group's targeted investment partnerships. He has assisted or served as lead advisor on over $15 billion of mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and private equity investment activity, covering both domestic and foreign companies, and currently serves on the boards of Shale-Inland, Spitzer Industries, Inc., Vestcom International, Inc. and Viking Range Corporation. He previously served as a director of BTEC Turbines, LP, Goodman Networks, Inc. and SmartSignal Corporation.

Mr. Sorrells attended Colorado University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
