Bob Martin is a special advisor of The Stephens Group, LLC. Mr. Martin brings his extensive executive experience in various industries including retail, international business and technology; all of which have been conducted both domestically and internationally.

Bob has served in a number of operational leadership capacities. His most recent role was as the President and CEO of Wal-Mart international, where he led the development of their international business from $70 million to over $33 billion during a seven-year period.

Throughout the years he has also received numerous career recognitions, including the 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award for Innovation in Retail, given by IBM.

He currently serves as a director for GapStores, Inc., Conn's Inc., Furniture Brands International and Solarwinds, Inc. He is also on the board of various philanthropic organizations and has previously served as a director for Sabre Holdings, Inc., Edgewater, Guitar Center and Dillard Department Stores, Inc. Mr. Martin received his Honorary Doctorate from Southwest Baptist University in 1990.
