Acetex Corporation

Acetex produces acetic acid and its derivatives, and manufactures specialty plastics resins and film products. The company operates production facilities in France, Spain and Canada, selling to customers primarily in Europe, the United States and Canada. Incorporated in November 1994 as 634071 Alberta, Ltd., the company changed its name to Acetex Corporation in December 1994. Acetex is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. As of July 20, 2005, Acetex Corp. is a subsidiary of Celanese Corp.
